Department of Perpetual Motion
How It Works

From Form 1 to a machine at work

Seven steps, each with the object you will meet on the site. The full rules are in Docs

Step 1 of 7
Form 1 with five machines to pick from
01

Fill in Form 1 and pick a machine

A name, a ticker, a picture, and one of five machines: Furnace, Safe, Tap, Dispenser or Balance. Settings depend on the machine: how long it may wait, its lock period, or its band

Open Form 1
Step 2 of 7
A stamp marks the form as filed
02

Sign once and the coin is on file

One transaction from your wallet: pump.fun creates the coin with its own cell as creator, the program writes the record with your machine, and your optional first buy follows. The machine never changes after this

Step 3 of 7
Fees fall into a funnel that splits them 80 and 20
03

Every trade pays its machine

Trades on pump.fun, and later in the PumpSwap pool, pay the coin a creator fee. Collect pulls them in and splits each one on chain: 80% to the machine, 20% to the Department. The launcher takes no fees

Step 4 of 7
A clock with three marks next to a typewriter printing NOW
04

A model picks the moment

For the Furnace, the Safe and the Tap a cheap model looks at numbers only, money ready, time since the last move, the price path, and says now or wait. Past its longest wait, 30, 15 or 5 minutes, anyone may push the move

Step 5 of 7
The furnace burning coins
05

The machine does its one job

The Furnace buys its coin and burns it. The Safe buys and keeps it under a lock. The Tap deepens the PumpSwap pool. The Dispenser pays new buyers who hold. The Balance buys its band of fall and sells the same rise

The five machines
Step 6 of 7
The safe bolted down and chained, a plate reads MAX 90 percent
06

The rules are bolted to the chain

Each move spends at most 90% of the treasury, between 0.001 and 2 SOL, under a price guard and a small share of the market. No sell for the Furnace, the Safe or the Tap. No way out for locked coins or pool tokens

Step 7 of 7
An open ledger with AI, RULE and FORCED tags
07

Every move is written down

Each decision lands in the Mind Log with its reason, then the transaction that followed. The reason's fingerprint is written into the move itself, so the published reason is pinned to it

Quick Answers
Is this a volume bot

No. The Furnace, the Safe and the Tap only buy. The Dispenser never trades. The Balance trades only on a full band move, five minutes apart, and sells only what it bought

Can I change my coin's machine

No. It is written into the record on chain at filing

Do I earn anything as the launcher

Not from the fees: they run the machine. You keep whatever you bought yourself

What if the keeper stops

Fees wait on pump.fun until a collect, which anyone can call. Overdue moves can be pushed by anyone after the longest wait

What does it cost to file

About 0.025 SOL in rents and the network fee, plus your first buy if you make one. There is no filing fee
